Vinson Luo, a 15 year old, currently attends University High School in Irvine, California. He has already toured extensively throughout Italy and France, featured as a soloist with the Irvine Classical Players in cities such as Paris, Rome, Lyon, and Venice. Besides his accomplishments with the violin, Vinson is a remarkable pianist.At age 8, he made his concert debut, performing a solo piano concerto with the Thousand Oaks Philharmonic. More recently he won second prize at the Los Angeles International Liszt Competition, in addition to numerous first places at the SYMF and the MTAC scholarship competition.
In addition to music, Vinson excels in mathematics and technology. He has qualified for the United States of America Junior Mathematical Olympiad, and represented the United States at the 2010 World Mathematics Team Championship held in Beijing.
